Canonical is a long time used now, Joomla have this feature for log time 
Mailque that is managed by a cron job. I have a Vbulletin mod that I use for other sites that allows you to specify the number of emails to send each time the cron job runs. This way you don’t flood the mail server with hundreds or thousands of emails at a time.

Basically. Having two locations for the same item, no matter how it happens. We use Zen Cart now with Magic SEO. It prevents two pages from containing the same item. Looks like there might be a fix for this though based on that post.
Ability to update quantities via upload to products with options… either that, or the ability change quantities of products (with and without options) via scanning barcodes on products. I have an inventory program that scans barcodes. I can’t upload the information to the cart so I have to manually hide products that are out of stock.

-so we can calulate profit in backend
-be able to make item’s price a make up by amount over cost

5) provide upgrade files in upgrade area again so we can manually apply the updates!!!

People need to get beyond this all-or-nothing thinking. If CS-Cart does not offer some new features over the course of a year, they will lose sales. Lost sales will mean fewer dollars to pay developers. Fewer developers means fewer (more specifically, more drawn out) bug fixes.
As I keep saying, CS-Cart must do both: address bugs in a timely manner and add features that make their product competitive or give it an edge against other shopping carts. We, as customers, should demand nothing less.

I’m happy with cs cart.
We don’t live in a perfect world so there will always be bugs, the main thing is to get the major ones sorted. I’ve moved over from joomla/virtuemart which had problems on problems on payment process, seo, froogle etc. and it was a pig to get use to. I’m glad i’m getting more hits because it’s a lot more stable than virtuemart.
It seems a lot has been done which at least means they’ve been busy to correct problems which never got sorted on virtuemart because of the fact there were 3 seo sellers, hundreds of different addons by different vendors.Literally thousand of configurations so that no one knew where the problem might be on a forum.
I can see ways of improving cscart for me, like importing, forum, blogger, rss and i hope they do it sooner rather than later. I haven’t had any major issues that apart from seo wont work.(but maybe thats not cscarts fault).
Well upgraded a minute ago and everything seems ok.
This thread should probably be renames to “CS 2.0.13 Wishlist” since 2.0.12 is already released.
Looks like most the requests have yet to be addressed.

Probably suggested a hundred times if it can’t already be done but I’d like to see a “Medium” thumbnail option for the Product view. So basically 3 sizes of images, thumbnail for Product List, Medium for product view, then Large for zoom view.

- Payment reminder when a order hasn’t been paid yet (after a few days) instructions included on how to pay anyway;
- The emails regarding the order status should be more customizable
- More finance statics, i cant see how much money i have earned last year.

What’s funny is that almost everyone wants something different. That is the awkward position that CS-Cart and most software companies for that matter are in.
Going through the list, I would second people that have posted and based on eCommerce research that I have done and read I would think the following would be beneficial enhancements for the entire community.
- Order status for unregistered customers
- Merge customer accounts
- Guest into registered customer
- Ability to issue Credit Notes
- Payment reminder when a order hasn’t been paid yet (after a few days) instructions included on how to pay anyway;
- The emails regarding the order status should be more customizable
- More finance statics, i cant see how much money i have earned last year
I will still push my idea that CS-Cart or the Moderators of the Forums should consider using a Crowdsourcing tool to gather this type of enhancement feedback. I know that [url]http://uservoice.com/[/url] is a good one.
