Customers are getting error message when they enter their credit cards and we have to have them re-submit order as a phone order
What version of CS-Cart are you on?
What payment gateway are you using?
Have you changed anything on the site recently…anything at all?
Do you have any addons installed that affect the checkout process?
What is the exact wording of the error message customers are getting?
Answering these questions will give the community more insight on what might be the problem.

I believe the current card processing on our cart is with the CS-Cart One Step Checkout add-on. It’s worked well until recently but it is an older add-on so maybe it’s become less compatible with new CS-Cart versions. I wonder too if it might have to do with expiry dates beyond whatever the add-on is developed to handle but I can’t see where that can be changed!
If you’re using the One Step Checkout Addon from @cscartrocks you should contact Louis directly. He is very responsive to requests for help and very knowledgeable about all things CS-Cart.
To check your payment provider:
Settings → Payment methods →
Click on an active “Card” payment method.
In the section General, you can see the processor. (Stripe, PayPal etc.)
Who is the processor?
- As Kingsleyress wrote, if you use the CsCartRock checkout, contact Louis directly, Louis will answer if you need an update for the Checkout AddOn.
