Creating New Payment Category

Hi, can anyone advise on this? Currently running 4.11.5.

I tried searching the forum on how to create a new payment category, however most of what I found don't seem to be work.

For example

It mention editing

design/backend/templates/views/payments/update.tpl

However, I can't find the lines that was recommended to change in the update.tpl

Any help will be appreciated.

The changes needs to be at

/design/backend/templates/addons/step_by_step_checkout/hooks/payments/
