For SEO purposes it’s optimal to create “actual” text over banners for Google to read and not just an image with text. Does anyone know how to do this in CS-Cart? Is there an easy method to create and place text over a banner image?
I appreciate anyone’s thoughts on this.

If you fill in the Alternative text/title for the banner’s image, it will add this text to the banner image’s alt and title attributes.
So, the “Alt Text” work for SEO in search engines just like text that’s over an image?
