Clear Cart Link Does Not Work

I've had this problem with 2 different templates (Cs-Cart stock and Energo) and 2 different browsers (Firefox and Chrome).

When I am doing a test order, I wish to clear the cart and click on the Clear Cart link. Nothing happens. I change the carts quantities and nothing happens. I reload the page and nothing changes. Customers have called me with the same issue. We all seem to be in some loop where we are unable to change the quantities or clear the cart entirely.

Is is a settings issue with my server? A browser issue?

I'm perplexed by the behavior of the cart/browser.

Any solutions?

Suggest you check a couple of things.

1) Check your PHP "error_log" to see if you're getting a fatal exit on the ajax request.

2) If that's okay, check the "Response" in your browser inspector for the "checkout.delete' request for any errors or even that it is responding.

If you mean the logs from the Admin of the store, I have this error message:

Error: Table 'arizonah_cart437.cscart_ebay_cached_transactions' doesn't exist (1146)

PHP Errors from the server are giving me some messages like this:

I had a new theme installed today but this problem has been occurring before today.

I did an audit with Chrome and the was no error message regarding ajax.

I do have messages such as:

Minimize cookie size

Specify image dimensions

Optimize the order of styles and scripts

Put CSS in the document head

Remove unused CSS rules (6519)

Looks like you need to check your mod_security settings in your Apache configuraiton or check your ownserhship/permissions of the var directory. You should not be getting these.error messages
