In the current version of cs-cart, the customer has to click to Update shipping rates after they enter the City, State or Country.
I think that this option is frustrating for the Customer and that is a step that can be 100% automated.
I did not find an e-commerce shop or platform that uses this technique.
And without this unnecessary step the checkout will be more fluent, and with a click less for the customer.
Any opinions on this?

We have plans to redesign the shipping calculation process on the checkout page, as well as to make customers experience easier and more convenient. This will eliminate the need to click on the “update shipping method data” button.

However, at the moment I can’t provide you with an ETA to implement this feature.
