Changing Admin Password

[COLOR=“DarkOrchid”]I know this is a dumb question…



When I set up my websites I wasn’t thinking security so much, and set up extremely easy passwords. Where do I change them ? I have checked everywhere I can think of and can’t find reference to user or password. I tried changing them in admin under Users/Administrators, but nothing happens and I can still login with old info

In the database and config.php but probably quickest to just click forgot password and respond to email.



it should change though when you change it in admin users administrators??

[COLOR=“DarkOrchid”]I tried changing it in admin, but nothing happened. Had tried it before for a customer and it would not change a thing.



I ended up having to add myself as a new administrator & disabling my old access.

Clear your cache after the change and your changes will probably automagically appear.
