Do you have demo sites using this CDN addon with the V3 Basic skin, to allow a direct comparison between using a CDN and not?
CDN is good for sure if you are also securing https otherwise it will not work.
Hello All - I will post demo here shortly also miracles - I am not sure what you mean by https ? When you sign up for CDN service you get SSL cert from your CDN provider you can upload your SSL cert to your CDN provider for like $200/month or something as far as Amazon is concern you can just use //cdn.domain.com or //xxx.cloudfront.com to get https but our setup is diff .
I cant disclose the website - I am sorry but we have the following setup
3 Failover / Hight Availability server and 3 Separate MYSQL Server with high availability/failover and replication enable
All servers are Physical box with RAID 10 and 5 SSD totaling 500GB EACH Drive on top of that
We have 10 Load Balancing/Reverse proxy servers setup in diff locations of US, so its our own CDN solution which we use , Our server speed load time is 0.87s in GTMETRIX our Pagespeed is 93% and Yslow is B.
If any one interested in setting up reverse proxy let me know they way we have it setup is we dont install anything in our web-server we use a separate machine for reverse proxy/load balance this way we dont screw up the main sever and it also save un-necessary attacks and load time - We also use Fortigate Firewall for DOS Attacks protection so its very duty setup.

Also, I imagine this would work the same with subdomains? For example; main content at; www.mysite.com and images at; images.mysite.com ?
In that case I would need a wildcard SSL cert to handle the various domain permutations.
