I have a bug with the categories block. CS-Cart support claims it’s based on the fact that mod_security is enabled on the server, but I don’t think so and my host won’t remove it. Is there anyone else running mod_security on their server who will verify whether or not they experience the same bug.
If I do the following steps, the categories will not assign to the block and nothing shows up on the front end.
- Go to Design > Blocks
- Click on Products
- Create a block assigned as “categories, manually, text links”
- Go to a product page in the admin panel, click on blocks
- Assign this block to the product (i.e. enable)
- Add 2nd or 3rd level categories to the block (1st level categories work ok)
