Good day, dear friends!
You’re receiving this email as a customer of Cart-Power and user of CS-Cart.
As you may probably heard, UPS has deprecated access key authentication https://developer.ups.com/ in favor of an OAuth 2.0 security model for all APIs to enhance security for customers, reduce fraud and provide enhanced API capabilities. OAuth replaces access keys with a client ID and client secret for authentication. New OAuth credentials must be created on the UPS Developer Portal.
By June 2023, UPS will no longer issue new API access keys.
After August 5, 2024, all integrations must utilize the OAuth 2.0 authentication model to continue to transact with UPS APIs.
By the moment, the CS-Cart integration with UPS has not been updated to OAuth auth-code grant type yet.
What it means for CS-Cart users:
Starting from August 5, 2024, UPS shipping calculation hence UPS delivery will completely cease to work on CS-Cart-based online stores and marketplaces with UPS offered at checkout.
Here are solutions Cart-Power suggests to prevent future service disruptions:
-

CS-Cart 4.17.2 [+] Shipping methods: UPS: Added integration with OAuth support -
