We sell SINGLE items.
How can the following possibly happen:-
Customer 1 bought an item and paid by PayPal
then a minute later…
Customer 2 bought the same item and paid by PayPal
As if that's not bad enough, Customer 1's order is showing as 'back ordered'.
I don't seem to be able to find any option for not allowing back orders.
Could this have been avoided by disabling Stock Control ?
Yes. That happens when you have a inventory tracking available . You can either increase the items stock or disable the inventory tracking. Thats should solve your problem
