I did a search for a file called prepare.php, but it doesn’t exist.
This is an un-modified RC version from this morning.
Any ideas?

Is it possible to use the prepare.php from a 1.3.5 installation?
There should be a file prepare.php. The one from 1.3.5 is different. I suggest you download again, and extract the file on your server.
It was a corrupted zip. Re-downloaded and all is well…
( well except the official 2.0 is out now, so I need to start again
