Can I delete /var/cache/registry/ files?

Hi



I have an “over quota” problem with my host who tells me it's caused by all the files in:



/home/mysite/public_html/var/cache/registry/



Can I just delete all the files in this directory? Is there a way to stop these files being written?



I'm using V4.01

You can but the engine will generate it again. You need a bigger hosting plan for v.4
