This Addon work with checkout for payment in Cs Cart.It will work live as well as Debugging mode. Braintree payment gateway accept cards. No doubt braintree is most easy and most scalable payment gateway of the modern time.

When you set all payment credentials (Marchant ID, Public key, etc.) in the add-on's setting, you will be able to configure several payment methods with this payment processor, but receive the funds only to one payment account. Something it is necessary to create several payment methods with the same payment processor, which receives the funds in different accounts.
I agree, please check how the built-in payment systems are integrated. But from other point of view, I do not think that store owners use different merchant accounts on one store.
We would like to inform that the credential from braintree that we have taken for add-on setting is being used multiple times and the developers has set it according to their compatibility other than that payment integration are developed according to CS-Cart.
Merchant A/c ID indicates a single currency. So, to support store's multiple currency feature multiple Merchant A/c IDs option has been provided. For better understanding please go through braintree integration.
We would like to inform you that in braintree when an account is created a Merchant ID with credential is generated. A Merchant ID can have multiple Merchant A/c ID. Each Merchant A/C ID indicates a single currency. So, multiple Merchant A/C ID can have multiple currencies.
