For example, if you have sales staff and want to prevent them from modifying or deleting orders, this add-on can be used to lock and protect orders from any unauthorized changes.

cs-cart has a bug where it overwrites the order description if you update the product description. Does your addon keep all of the order data e.g. if you overwrite product description, shipping data, prices etc does your add-on retain the original data in the order?
No, my add on protects orders from deletion and logs every deletion attempt, including who initiated it, when it occurred, and the originating IP address.
I understand your requirement and the law requirement. You need to retain orders for ten years and be able to reproduce them exactly as they were at the time they were placed (customer ask for invoice).
From my understanding, CS Cart stores order data separately, so completed orders should not be affected by later price changes.
However, I will carefully examine and test this behavior over the next few days to see if that historical data remains fully intact. Also, the seller can not delete the product which has been sold from the inventory (booking keeping for 10 years). This needs also be probably implemented.
We will also monitor how sales perform with this add on enabled.
