It would be nice to have a basic text editor for the message center when messaging vendors. Just markdown and/or basic formatting so important “all vendor” messages can be easily recognised.

This part caught my attention. If I got you right, you’d like to use the Message Center for announcements for all vendors. It’s a perfectly valid use for it, but we’ve come up with something better for Multi-Vendor 4.16.1.
You’ll be able to put announcements right on the vendor dashboard (no need to send a message to all vendors through the Message Center). Those new announcements will allow more than basic formatting: HTML and CSS too.
