This is an odd one. I have been struggling for hours trying to figure out why my banners
show just fine on my computer in Firefox, IE, and Chrome but on my iphone they are broken.
The end result I have figured is the iphone browser has an issue with the way the
banner files are renamed. When I upload a banner image that contains a “-” in the filename
such as “ss-lasts.jpg” Cs-Cart renames it to something numerically wild like “ss-lasts13152484414e651939691d5.jpg”. This apparently can not be read on the iphone
browser. It ends up showing as a broken image.
The solution for now don't create any banner images with a “-” in the name.
I'm not sure anyone else will run into this problem but I wanted to mention it in case.
