maybe you have an idea how to realize this without or with small modifications....
beside my "real" vendors, which present themselves on the portal and sell their products, I have another type of "anonymous" vendors...the special thing about the anonymous vendors is that they do not want to appear as vendors in the storefront.....they want to maintain products but do not want to sell them on their own....another "default" vendor should present & sell their products instead of them.....
One simple option to solve this is to create additional "default" vendor admins with a new user group with restricted privileges assigned.....but this would mean that they can change all products from the default vendor, and not only the ones belonging to them....
