Depends on where you want it. Easy way would be is create a block and place the code in there. Or you can just go to site layout and put in there. This way it would only show on the home page.
Hi again.
If I try to put the code into a textbox, say like a product description, it will display the code exactly the way I copied it.
How can I display an adsense code in a block?

I tried to make a btext banner, pasted my google code in there, opened blocks, added the new banner to a block, and the block comes up, but empty…
I tried the easiest way, as CutriteFX suggested it, to put it into the site layout, I pasted the code right to the very top, in front of my text, and on the shopfront, it just displayed an empty strip, where the ads should have been.
Surely someone has put Adsense code into Cs cart before.
I would have tought that to implement a bog standard code into cs cart would be simple.
I am having the same problems. How to fix this?
I think the banner block doesn’t support java script. You should use a html block instead.

I have done this but still no luck. Please help me.
disable any editor you have in your setting and it will work.
I use adsense in blocks.
It absolutely amazes me that anybody would put Adsense on an ecommerce site. Unless the products you attempt to sell have so little profit margin that you make more money making $0.04 instead of selling the product, why put Adsense on an ecommerce site, sending your customers to your competitors site? Or did I miss the first eCommerce lesson…?
Adsense is “supposed” to not use compeitors who use the same keywords as you but they “supposedly try” to get similar words so the content is somewhat relevant. I agree that it doesn't make a lot of sense (other than maybe on the order complete page). I would have very little trust in Google's ability to not get my competitors into the listing.
