I set up shipping options for the customer side, and then there are the usual UPS/USPS/FedEx etc carrier choices in admin when posting the tracking info…and these are included on the invoice & packing slip.
Where do I need to go to add new admin carrier options such as UPS 3 day, overnight, etc ?
When viewing orders in admin, where can I find this list ? I want to add a couple of rush shipping options for admin use only…

Not sure if I understand you correctly Dawn but you set those up in the same place that you set up the other one. You just label them as Ground, 2nd day, Next day and set them up with the corresponding shipping service.

I didn’t set these up, they were original equipment I just can’t find where they are located so I can add the additional choices. I see these carriers listed under “Shipping Settings”, but can’t find where this originates from…
They are located in Shipping/Taxes–>Shipping Methods. Create a shipping method for each.

I know exactly what you are saying, but these new methods do not show up in the drop down list in admin when viewing & updating orders. In other words, I don’t offer these methods to the customers for we ship worldwide, and I certainly don’t want someone in Norway to order Next Day Air :shock: The only method they see is “Best Way”.
Somewhere in a template these carriers are listed…and I just can’t find it. I need these options available to me in admin when I update orders.
Are you talking about the “Carrier” selection? What does it matter? UPS is UPS, FedEx is FedEx, etc… It will still show your method (Ground, 2nd day, Next day) 2 lines up.
Edit: You can set your shipping methods up so that it will show up for some and not others depending on location

When viewing & updating the orders, the “Method” appears as “Best Way Within US”…for that is the only shipping option available to the US customer. BUT when we are preparing to ship, we need to have the exact mode of shipping posted for our own use for the person processing the shipment. We need all the UPS air options, and for international shipments, we use both USPS Priority & Express.
I just need to know where to find that list & edit it…and we will be doing great
