Admin Search Results Bulk Editting

In the admin panel when a search is performed, you cannot bulk edit the list of results. The issue is reproducible on the the demo.

I think it’s intended, the quick search (which is what you’re using) is meant to let you find one, selected item. If you want to do bulk edit of products, you’re supposed to visit the products list.

You may be right but I am not sure what the intent is. Even if the search is found in different places, it will prompt “Orders, Products, Customers”.


The current behavior is intended, the quick search works on all entities that could be found in the store, so interaction with them is limited as they could be absolutely different. If you want to change the products that can be found under certain conditions, please go to the Products > Products page and perform the search query there.
