Adding or amending products seems to hang for ages

Adding or amending products seems to hang for ages, this has just happened recently.



Basically when doing the above the browser status bar shows that its doing something but just hangs for ages while on the front end the changes have already been made. To get out of the admin products page that is hanging I have to refresh the page.



Anyone know how to stop this page from hanging?

I just tried to delet a product and the same happens the page just hangs, this did not happen before…



Please advise…

I cleared the cache its working all good now…

One thing that helped me is to uninstall and reinstall the statistics addon. I read this fix on a different post, I just don’t remember which one.



I don’t know why it helps, but it does.
