@CS-Cart_team This is about the standard marketplace terms and conditions, I note that vendors may add additional terms and conditions and this is not about them.
Bug support
The terms and conditions state that the software is as is. Some vendors offer support periods. Some vendors are explicit in their terms and conditions that the support period includes bug fixes. At least one vendor offers support and simply saids no refunds will be provided. Others are completely silent. Can you please include in the main terms and conditions that where a support period is offered it includes bug fixes?
On the demo you can see marketplace T&C and vendor T&C
Thankyou, it’s a different question/request.
The standard terms and conditions in the addon marketplace says that addon’s come as is.
Some vendors don’t have secondary terms and condtions e.g. @ecomlabs don’t have any vendor terms and conditions in the marketplace, i.e. if I buy a addon from you and it has bugs you don’t have to fix it, but I suspect you would, you seem like one of the good developers. Other developers like @cart-power offer support period and say they will fix bugs (and I have brought from them before and they did). At least one developer charges for support (I won’t name them) and they simply state in their terms and conditions “we don’t do refunds” I brought a addon off them and it has bugs. So what I am asksing is for @CS-Cart_team to include in the main terms and conditions that if there is a support period that it includes fixing of bugs during the support period regardless of what cs-cart CORRECTION … regardless of what the vendors terms and conditons saids.
I would actually like it to be more generous than that, because whilst there are demo’s you can’t always test all functions, or it might not function in you store and under the terms and conditions as written you have lost your money. I have not brought add-ons because of the terms and conditions (or lack of them). Under Australia consumer law if it didn’t do what you said you get your money back, I don’t know about US law (which is what applies to the marketplace).
Oh. Sorry, I thought the question was about Multi-Vendor functionality
