Does this have any advantage over Social Login — CS-Cart 4.17.x documentation please?

Hi there,

When a customer opens the site, a popup will appear at the top right prompting them to log in with their Google account. Simply clicking on “Continue as [Account_Name]” will automatically log them in using their Google credentials.

It’s important to note that this add-on differs from Cs-Cart Social Login, as Cs-Cart One-Tap Login exclusively works with Gmail accounts. Its primary advantage lies in expediting the login process for first-time visitors who may not have plans to sign up initially. This feature facilitates a swift registration process, encouraging these customers to easily join the site.

That’s handy! Sign-up as customer only? or is sign-up as a vendor on a default plan set by the marketplace administrator also possible?

Hello,

This feature is exclusively designed for customers. As mentioned earlier, it streamlines the registration process, making it easy for customers to join the site swiftly.

However, for vendors, the situation is different. Vendors are required to provide a multitude of details, followed by the completion of the KYC process. In my opinion, the Add-on may not be suitable for vendors due to these additional requirements and processes.
