Add New Custom field to product while adding and editing

Hi Experts,



I am new to CS-Cart and have to do modification to the product page in admin section. i have Cs-cart 2.1.4 running on one of my client's computer and I need to add a new field to the product that the admin user can set while adding or editing the product. While searching the forum, I came across to Adding a field to the "Add New Product" page - v1.x Configuration - CS-Cart Community Forums but it is not in v2.x and I am unable to do so.

Please guide me in this direction.

Got the solution to the above question. The link posted in the question does work…my bad was I was not clearing the cache. Cleared Cs Cart Cache and everything worked like charm…
