Is it possible to add more fields to the variant options? See below…
For example if I wanted to add, quantity, product size as field headers etc. I would also like to format the results in a table with the field names above. Is this possible or would I have to edit the code to allow this?
Thanks very much!
Does anybody know where the source code is stored for edit variants, (see screenshot above). Such as the view? Where abouts in skins/backend is it stored?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
why you don’t use extra fields ?
Hi there. Where is that option?
The little green Plus sign… For product quantity you need to make product combination but make sure you check inventory on the Variant option.
Thanks for that.
No way to add more columns ? Where’s the view stored for this page?
Wow… I can’t figure out how you got to edit product variants. I need to add another field for product quantity. Store sells supplements with products of multiple sizes. Customers are complaining that they can’t compare in the list view because it doesn’t list the product amounts (i.e. one product may have 100 capsules while similar product has 200 capsules).
Is it possible to add this field right after the product name and product code?
That is what Product Features are for. Your products have one or more features and then product features can be compared amongst each other.

That’s all good EZ Merchant but for someone that just wants a bottle of Vitamin C with 100 capsules instead of 50, it seems kind of ridiculous that they just can’t see the quantity in the list form and put it in their cart. There really is no reason to “compare” as it’s same manufacturer. Any ideas on how to add a “count” or “quanity” field so it shows in the abbreviated view of the product like the product code?
You can setup thee variants as “Inventroy Tracking and in Product Variants” then go to Product Combinations just click rebuild combinations. They in the Generel product tab select Track with options. This way each product can have A Product code and a quantity. Which is accessed from Catalag in Qty itll say edit…
I am currently getting some prices to enhance the product options, similar to the way they are shown in the attached picture.

Sort of like a “Unit of Measure” field with 50 Count Bottle, or 100 Count Bottle ?
I guess I’m confused as to why you don’t either:
A) Have radio button options that indicate the count and price adjustment.
B) Have the count in the product name or short description.
Alternatively you can use option combinations if you want a different SKU for Vitamin C based on the number of tablets.
