I have had this problem for years randomly. It pops up when I try to log in about 5% of the time and when playing around on the frontend of the site I see it. I have had customers complain about seeing it (though I’m guessing most will simply leave the site never to return). It seems like I have tried all of the solutions I have found online but none seem to fix it. And with it being so random it is hard to test/replicate. Below is a screenshot of my settings. Note that I did not just input these giant numbers but have gradually increased them over the years without it ever fixing anything. My site does have a lot of products (about 20K) and lots of options per product (well over 100 can be selected per most products). Anyone have an idea on what I could be missing?
You can try increasing the value of the post_max_size parameter up to 15000 - 20000.
I did this via WHM and still am seeing the issue. It’s random, but does happen enough that it is concerning.
Can’t even imagine what could ever send such a huge amount of data from a form on a page to cause this issue with such huge values of these parameters. If you would be able to consistently reproduce this issue on your site, please contact us via Help Desk, we will try to check this issue in your store.
Yes, it is so sporadic that is why I haven’t been too worried about it. Are these “attacks” logged anywhere? Just curious of it would show any type of error when it happens or what would be causing it.
No, I am afraid that such issues aren’t logged in any way.
