Hello,



Can I host my website with one company and host my domain name with another?



Do I need to host my domain name with the same hosting company that are hosting my website to set up my SSL?

Example: Can I host my website with justhost and host my domain name with godaddy?

yes.



You can host your domain where ever you want too.



You just have to tell Godaddy what your nameservers are. like ns1.myhost.com, ns2.myhost.com

Just to be clear, so I don't have to hosting domain with my website hosting company to use a private SSL?



I just want to make sure.
