A way to have a restriction on acces to a category ?

Hello,

I would like to allow the access to a special category (private sales) to some specific customers only, or at least to the register customers only, is there a way to do that and how ?

not sure if its the same for every version, but in 1.3.4 sp3 you would simply create a membership “level” (name it what you want) then, on the manage category admin page, set the membership selectbox to the new level for that category.



Then, edit (select) the members you want to have that level and assign it to their membership

I personally only use two memberships Customer and Admin. If I were to do this, I’d set the membership to Admin.
