Product Id's Jumped Dramatically

22 December 2014 - 11:59 PM

We use the product id as the product identifier on the frontend in our store (instead of sku or product code) and our last product id was something like 33000. I recently added a new product and it created it with product code 10000001 (whoa!)

Is there any way to 'reset' this or get it back to a more realistic number?

Thanks!

Cscart_Seo_Redirects Table Full Of Entries

21 November 2014 - 06:05 AM

After upgrading to 4.2.3, I noticed the cscart_seo_redirects table has a ton of entries (double the amount for our products) but nothing in the 'destination' field.

Is it safe to empty this table if I don't need any old URL's to redirect?

Trying To Upgrade 4.1.4 To 4.1.5

14 October 2014 - 04:38 AM

Hi all,
I'm trying to upgrade our store from 4.1.4 to 4.1.5 but it just ends up going to a "Store Closed" page. I had a php memory error so I increased memory, cleared cache in the backend (and manually) as well as disabled 3rd party addons, optimized the database and deleted the "var/upgrade" folder to start fresh.

Is there anything else that I can try to get this going? Any suggestions would be awesome.

thanks!

Frontend Search By Product Id

Hi,
Can someone help me figure out how to enable searching for products on the frontend by product id instead of sku/code for version 4.2.2?

Thanks!

Catalog Order Form

09 April 2014 - 11:26 PM

Hi, We have a paper catalog with hundreds of products that we print and send to our customers each year, and previously our customers used the fax order form to quickly write out which parts they needed to order. (archaic, I know!)

Now we want an easy way for our customers to order a list of these items on our website (cs-cart 4.1.x) without having to search for each SKU individually. Ideally they would have a list of SKUs ready on their end, then they'd come to our site to enter them in a form and have them all added to the cart at once, quickly creating a big order.

Does anyone know of an addon or some way of accomplishing this? Any help here would be awesome!

Thank you
