In Topic: Add-On By Webkul: Shopify Connector

Honestly I've tried so hard with this but it's so buggy and now is not working at all. Can't add new vendors to it, getting errors. Had to pay for extra support through their site and still they aren't fixing it. It's cost so much time, effort and money and it's still not working.

At this stage I wouldn't recommend this to anyone

I'm running into similar things with this vendor. They fixed a few big bugs that were affecting my store and now I'm left with an issue where their plug-in doesn't convert weights from Shopify.

If your vendor inputs weights in anything other than pounds (or the whatever the primary unit of measure is for your store) it just blindly copies it over. For instance, my store is set to have product weights input as pounds and if a vendor inputs their weights as grams it will just copy the exact number over and not convert. This causes weights to sometimes be drastically overstated and causes issues with shipping calculations which makes customers overpay or abandon their carts.

Webkul has come back saying that it will be 2-3 months before they will update their cart but I am losing sales daily because of their issue. They wanted me to pay to have it fixed in a timely fashion to which I am okay with.. as long as I get a refund when they roll out the fix to everyone else.

It's really sad honestly... Webkul has a nice portfolio of extensions that I would be happy to purchase for my store.. but my experience with this add-on is making me second guess purchasing other!

I agree with this sentiment. Webkul's extensions have so many bugs! I have been successful in getting them to fix a couple crippling bugs on their Shopify connector but we keep encountering more and more of them as we continue to use their add-on. Now we have a bug where the weights from Shopify are not imported correctly and they are unwilling to fix in a timely fashion. They've quoted me 2-3 months, but after reading all of these posts I'm fearful they will never fix it.

In Topic: New Customer Promotion - Shop Owner Will Cover Cost

I am also very interested in this functionality as its exactly what we are trying to do for our store. Does anyone have any insight on how to make a promotion that has the marketplace admin bearing the cost of the promotion instead of the vendor?
