Rating a developer based on the number of uploaded products? The rating system is not properly fair, this is why we stopped uploading our add-ons.

We are sorry hearing that you have problems with this add-on and considering it useless.
During our conversaion explained you how to set up, which option to select and use it if your store is running on a slow server and have a lot of products.
"...The creator's response to this is....use the tags option."
Our complete phrase was: "To get the best and more appropiate results we suggest to use tags."
Isn't our fault that your server can't make face on the big number of products you have, over 30000 as you told, this is why we suggested to select the tags from the available options.
The add-on follows the CS-Cart caching rules, the block or the tab is cached, on first run may take a bit time to build the cached files, but than will be loaded from cache as the other content in CS-Cart. This can not slow down the page load.

As you know, the add-on has been launched not long ago. And the main idea was to set up/define related products manually and using tags. We added also the product name feature, which may return more results, less relevant.
From the other cs-cart owners we are receiving countinuosly great feedbacks, the add-on is doing his job and does not slow down the product details page.
Also we are receiving great ideas how to improve the functions, make site owners life easier. In the next release will implement the received ideas, I can't promise that all will be added but the most usefull things will be! Also your ideas and requests will be added, which may solve your issue.
Till than we ask for patience and we are convinced that you will change your opinion.

Our add-ons are not slowing down the sites, if you experienced this with them let me know the add-on name and version.
We are sorry hearing that the accepted payment methods on our page made you nervous...
Is not clear for us why...there are only a few payment methods for EU with acceptable conditions.
Alertpay was changed back to Paypal long time ago.

You need to refresh your info...also on the other post which you made on the dynamic search topic.
You don't know anything about our conversation with that guy, his communication style, issue, etc...
so, please edit it or move to the webgraphiq reviews topic.

Webgraphic has some nice software, it is the callbacks they use to verify the software you are using is licensed that worries me. I know that protecting their software is important to them, but so is the fact that I want customers to be able to use our website. So I have been holding out for a better solution that doesn't require a call back. Too many times people have posted different things here on the forums about how callbacks to a developers website have stopped part of their site to stop working.

The major part of developers (in this forum) are using callbacks, also CS-Cart. We never blocked sites, part of sites, etc....
If you do not intend to make tricks have nothing to worry...
Fortunately our add-ons are very popular and the number of our customers is increasing day by day.

Seems that after long time CS-Cart is following x-cart in selling add-ons...for their cart.

We are glad to announce that a new version of the "Deal of the day with Alerts" add-on for cs-cart v4 was released.
Based on the big number of our customers requests we added the ability to display the counter also on the product details page.
This feature can be enabled/disabled from the admin panel.

We use CS-Cart and develop add-ons from the 1.3.4 version.
I can't say that there were no problems, but overall is a good cart for the money.
