Live Help 2.0.1 Minimize to Tray issues...

03 January 2008 - 01:55 PM

Hi,

When i minimize the LiveHelp 2.0.1 to system tray the program disappears after some minutes (there is no icon in system tray).

The application is running 100%, i can test that if i try to contact LiveHelp through my live site, then it pops up and i can see my self requesting chat.

Other bug is that it opens in double instance whenever the program pop up!

Please someone try to duplicate those issues!

Greek Language Pack for Live Help 2.0.1

03 January 2008 - 01:52 PM

Hi,

I ve made a translation of the English language pack of Live Help 2.0.1 to Greek Language. The encoding is in UTF-8 and the match is 99.9% correct (only the "apply" word cannot be translated, even if i translate it in the file!! I dont know why this is happening).

Installation procedure:

Just copy the file provided below (unzip it first) to the following path:
C:\Program Files\CS-Cart.com\LiveHelp 2.0.1\language

When you copy the file please restart the LiveHelp application and select your new language via Tools-> Settings-> Language select "Ελληνικά" and hit "apply".

RSS script, only Product Title and Description

30 July 2007 - 09:45 PM

Hi guys, i was messing around with some php scripts that will create an RSS feed of your Product title and Description.

First create a PHP file "rss.php" add the following code into it and put it in your root dir (or create an rss directory and put it there). The CDATA commands helps the parsing of some characters in xml format so the feed gets validated and show up correctly.

<? header('Content-type: text/xml'); ?>

<?php

$dbhost = "localhost"; // almost always localhost.

$dbname = "databasename"; // Database Name, In our case, its news

$dbuser = "username"; // Database Username

$dbpass = "password"; // Databse Password

$connect = mysql_connect("$dbhost","$dbuser","$dbpass");// Connecting to Database

mysql_select_db($dbname) or die (mysql_error()); // Selecting Database

?>

Your Title Here

Description of your store

<?

$sql = "SELECT * FROM cscart_product_descriptions";

$result = mysql_query($sql);

while($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)){

?>

<?=$row['product']; ?>

<?=$row['full_description']; ?>

http://www.yoursite....rget=products&product_id=<?=$row['product_id']; ?>

<?
}
?>

Of course you can play with the rows and add short description instead of full. I was trying to grab data from the "cscart_products" table to list the price from the "list_price" row but i dont know how to do it. My knowledge is very limited, if someone else could make this happen it would be great!

If you like, for security reasons you can make an additional 'config.php' file to open the connection to the database and store it in a safer place than the root of your server and then insert an "include" command inside the 'rss.php' to call it.

Here in Greece RSS feeds for online stores are usefull in some ways especially in sites like the froogle but in Greek version but it's not free ;)

Feel free to make any suggestion to a n00b! :D

2 problems in layout of aquarelle_red, images included

29 July 2007 - 02:13 PM

Hi guys,

why the layout is streched too much?

I've attached two images with the problem. Something is wrong with the .tpl files or the .css. I havent made any changes at all, only some additions to 1 or 2 .tpl files. The same thing happens in a clean version of aquarelle_red.

Can someone please post a fix as i m not an expert in css/.tpl files.

Thanks!
