# of columns different on different pages?

23 March 2007 - 03:28 AM

This is probably a strange question but I was wondering if it was possible to have 2 columns on one page and maybe 3 or 4 on a different page? I have items that fit best in 2 columns but then others that really look better on a 3 or 4 column page. I'm new so if this is ridiculous, don't yell at me okay?

Frustrated.... Re: Web Design - Anyone?

10 February 2007 - 09:51 PM

I'm just frustrated right now. However, I want to ask if anyone does web design in CS-cart. My problem is that my web was made in frontpage for the last few years and I have the exact look I want but I don't know how to get a similar look in CS-Cart. I am trying to find the easier non-html way to make the cart - I believed the features list where it said "no html knowledge needed" but I think I'm in way over my head. I was trying to avoid having someone do this for me, but can anyone help me? And how much would it cost just to head me in the right direction with the frontpage layout. Please don't laugh at me, I'm new here, I do/did rely on frontpage and I'm finding this difficult.
Please email or pm me and let me know how much it would be to either tell me what to do or to change the look of the frontpage for me without going into the html or other languages. Where can you go to modify the frontpage that you don't have to rely on html??
Any help/price offer is welcomed!
My previous website (well still current on frontpage until I take it down) is: www.sew-dolling.com

"VIEW STOREFRONT" link - not going anywhere

10 February 2007 - 04:07 AM

My cart was installed today but I cannot seem to do much of anything to change the appearance whatsoever. I'm wondering if everything was installed alright. I was counting on the "no html knowledge needed" part of cs-cart's features list.

For example, if I try to change anything in the appearance, it doesn't give me anything other than limits to products on the page, etc. Nothing to do with background colors or images to replace the cs-cart image. If I had it installed, I don't know what I can do to make any changes especially in these areas. Right now I can't do much. When I click on View Storefront, it goes to an error page, nothing readable. Am I missing something ?? Please tell me I am. I didn't think it would be this hard. Maybe my host is blocking something from working or could it be a part of the wysiwyg editor is not working on my site? The site address that fails is:
It goes to the above address when I click on View Storefront from this address:
Can anyone help me understand if this is what it's really like or if something might be wrong with my cart?
Thank you,
Susan (aka Kristiana)

PRICE CHANGE to $115??? Just purchased at $195

Is the CS-Cart that I just purchased hours ago, now $85 less than $195? I clicked on the $195 picture on the frontpage and if you go all the way to checkout - it says it is $115 now.
Anyone else notice this and just purchase it??
