What are the other carts that see the configured product as one product?

I'm doing some more research on this one...

This is what they will do:

We can develop the ability to apply the "Global", "User", "Category", "Product" discounts for configurable products.
e.g.
Configurable_product_A price: $17+$5+$2 = $24 <----- The discount will be applied only this price.
- product_1 price: $17 <--- no discount for this product
- product_2 price: $5 <--- no discount for this product
- product_3 price: $2 <----- no discount for this product

I would love it if you (and anyone else having this issue) would complain for them to fix it as a bug. Frankly I think it is, otherwise the "product configuration" really isn't doing much. A "kit" discount is the whole point of it, right?

Does anyone know if this has been fixed in 1.3.5?

CS-Cart will fix this for $174 - anyone want to pitch in?

(I have a feeling they've done this before, because after two weeks of going back and forth with the help desk, the programers suddenly understand completely everything I need to have happen - convenient).

However it's 30 days before the even start. Can anyone else help me with this issue quicker.

Thanks

There are discounts that can be global - or just to a category - or just to a product - or just to a customer.

Have a look at the tabs.

Page you are right, but the problem is when you have a configured product. The program does not recognize the end price of the product (after the comonents/items are added in). It defaults to the base price. So if you have a kit, you can't discount it correctly.
