Well, Hostinger is an example of how you can make money giving shitty service, only with the help of marketing.
Customers complain, they apologize and promise to fix the problems, but they do nothing and apologize again. Then they promise additional services as compensation, angry customers are invited to a cup of coffee on social networks, they apologize again on review sites + their employees write reviews about what a great company they work for... but little changes.
They lie all the time, and users get angry.
