It looks like the payment method was not well configured. It looks like the payment processor did not receive a response from the payment system. Do you have a set address in PayPal where to receive payment notification in Profile website payments on PayPal ?

Yes there is a set address in PayPal.
Why would this have happened with a card payment?
I only found out this happened because the customer emailed me which made me look at past orders that are incomplete but some have been paid.
Any help is appreciated.
