Adding Blog Image To Rss Feed?

Would anyone happen to know what to edit in order to add the blog image to the RSS feed?  I noticed that the products image is easily in place in the RSS feed, but the Blog Image is not.  I don't necessarily want to create an addon for this.  I would just like to edit/add code in the rss addon area.  Help would be much appreciated!


No Api Call For Including An Image With A Blog Post?

We have looked everywhere regarding the ability to include an image in a blog post via an API call.  It does not appear to exist at the moment.  The image is even hosted already (it's a URL jpg) and all we want to do is have the image post in the addon section of the Blog/Pages page.  Everything else works fine.  Just can't figure out the correct call for the image and the documentation has nothing relating to it.

 

Any help would be much appreciated!
