In Topic: Thumbnails For Mobile Look Blurry

13 March 2018 - 03:42 PM

Hey all

I'm almost done on a site, but the client isn't happy with the quality of the thumbnails.

I've got around this for the category page by not even using them for now

But for the product page I can't do that else the image is full size.

This is the site

On desktop, this looks ok : http://missmartini.c...store/earrings/

clicking on the first earring (A Perfect Pear - Large) on mobile.... so

The thumbnail looks blurry.

I have the width for the product page set to 320

If I make it any bigger, then the size on the screen also changes (and goes outside the view of the phone and also appears bigger on the product page on the desktop)

Any thoughts?

I am facing the same problem here, when in mobile(responsive) the thumbnails appear blurry even though i set the thumbnails quality to 100%.

Have solved it?

Did you find any solution?

I Found the solution, I had to insert in the scripts.post.tpl file the path to the js file with the code to open the dropdown box of the account on hover, and everything worked out.

In Topic: Cant' Access Storefront Or Backend On Local Development Environment

16 February 2018 - 08:58 AM

Hello there!

As i describe in the title, i tried to set up a live site locally in order to check what changes will be lost in possible update.

So the procedure i followed is the following:

  • Zipped the public html folder from my cpanel
  • Exported the site's mysql database
  • Extracted the public html folder in my root directory under the site's folder name
  • I changed to config.local.php to match the local's development environment settings($config['db_host'], $config['db_name'], $config['db_user'], $config['db_password'], $config['http_host'], $config['http_path'])
  • I also changed the storefront and secure_storefront columns under cscart_companies table in the local database.
  • I changed the permissions of the file to be 777

But after all the above changes i am getting the following response

"server IP address could not be found"

Do you have any suggestions on how to tackle this problem??

Any idea will be really appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

any idea will be appreciated

I overcame this problem by contacting the server guy of my company. It turned out to be a setting on the localhost server.
