#310351 Ups Shipping - Residential Vs Commercial

Posted by straygecko on 24 December 2018 - 01:06 AM

cs-cart used the UPS api properly in 4.4.3 and prior and would let UPS determine the address type and charge the correct shipping based on the address type.  They introduced a bug in the rewrite of the UPS api in 4.5.1 and stuck the address lines in the wrong element so UPS ignores it.  I opened a bug report here:

https://forum.cs-car...-using-address/

The bug is in app/Tygh/Shippings/Services/Ups.php lines 346 and 348.  Change $rating_request['Shipment']['ShipTo'] to $rating_request['Shipment']['ShipTo']['Address'] in both lines and correct rates will be charged based on whether the address is residential or commercial.

#299647 Can't Execute Function In My_Changes Func.php - Unknown Modifier

Posted by straygecko on 03 April 2018 - 02:55 PM

Hmmm.... Both your original test and the modified one based on input here seem to behave the same - func.php is not getting picked up, in the new test perhaps both init.php and func.php aren't getting picked up. You're not spelling out the complete path to files so lets start with basics to be sure you have init.php and func.php in the right place as you show both php and tpl hook code in just \addons. init.php and func.php go in \app\addons\my_changes\ Template overrides go in \design\themes\yourtheme\templates\addons\my_changes\

#257397 Favicon: Any Way To Exceed 16X16 Pixels?

Posted by straygecko on 18 August 2016 - 08:05 PM

I think the cs-cart doc is incorrect on requiring it to be 16x16.  I'm using a 64x64 favicon with no problem, uploaded using the theme editor.  You could probably even go with 128x128.

#253451 How To Hide Products From Subcategory And Display Only The Last

Posted by straygecko on 22 June 2016 - 08:40 PM

No need to create a whole new page.  You can get rid of the product list on category pages in Settings|General.  Under Catalog uncheck "Show products from subcategories of the selected category".  The left column with the filter block and recently viewed might automatically disappear when you do that but if not go into Design|Layout and click on the Categories tab.  Deactivate the Grid 4 that contains the Filter and Recently Viewed blocks.

#250400 Add Css And Js To Specific Pages Only

Posted by straygecko on 12 May 2016 - 02:47 PM

Try:

{if $location_data.dispatch == 'pages.view' && $page.page_id = 123}

in scripts.post.tpl for js and in styles.post.tpl for css/less.  Or put them in head_scripts.post.tpl if you want them separately loaded instead of sucked into the cs-cart combined files.

#249998 Add Custom Css To Header

Posted by straygecko on 06 May 2016 - 03:10 PM

Please use:

<link href="{'[relative]/[theme]'|fn_get_theme_path:'C'}/css/addons/my_changes/styles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

<style src="addons/my_changes/styles.css"> is simpler.  Put it in the index/head_scripts.post.tpl hook so it doesn't get sucked into the combined css file.

#247687 Redirect Frenzy - From Old Urls Based On Coldfusion Non Seo Friendly Url To C...

Posted by straygecko on 08 April 2016 - 07:42 PM

Sorry, I forgot you need to test the query string separately.  Since you have setup a separate account it will only get requests from pasioingredients.com so no need to test the host name:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^fuseaction=product.display&product_ID=67&ParentCat=100 [NC]
RewriteRule ^/index.cfm http://pasioonline.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=155 [NC, R=permanent, L]

If you really need to check the host name, for example if you setup pasioingredients.com as parked on pasioonline.com so it serves from the same file directory then you can add this to your cs-cart .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www.)?pasioingredients.com [NC]
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^fuseaction=product.display&product_ID=67&ParentCat=100 [NC]
RewriteRule ^/index.cfm http://pasioonline.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=155 [NC, R=permanent, L]

I have no experience with high risk merchant providers but had Durango Merchant Services on my short list when looking for a provider and they claim to specialize in high risk merchant accounts.

#245176 Number Of Columns

Posted by straygecko on 11 March 2016 - 02:41 PM

That looks like you are using the multicolumn list template.  For that the columns are controlled in the block options.  Design | Layout.  Click on the block options gear icon for your category menu block.  Next to the template dropdown where you select multicolumn list click on settings and the setting for number of columns will appear.
