Helpdesk Confirms A Bug And Refuses To Fix - What To Do?

did any of community members had this kind of a problem with helpdesk?


I've reported a bug to cs-cart helpdesk and they confirmed that the described behavior is a bug. They have written that it will be fixed within 45 days.


After 2 days I got a message that the bug fix will not be provided because it requires more work than anticipated.


What to do in such cases. The bug is obvious, there is a confirmation of a bug but the helpdesk refuses to fix it and they don't want to give me any estimated time of fixing it. Basically, they show me a middle finger.


The functionality which is affected by the bug used to work fine with product option combinations. In the next major version of cs-cart (4.12.1) product option combinations will be removed from cs-cart completely.


Up until now I was quite happy with the way cs-cart helpdesk used to work, but this situation blows my mind.


Any suggestions how to deal with it?

Drag & Drop Mechanism For Ordering Products In Catalog

It's nearly impossible to correctly set the position of the products in category while using variations as a single product.

- The view should show only catalog items, instead it shows all of the product variations
- In order to correctly set the position I have to assign the same value "position" for all of the variants. This value should be duplicated across all of the variations as a single product
- There should be drag & drop mechanism! It's implemented across other sections of cs-cart admin panel. It would make it much easier than it is now. I cannot overstate this one. IT'S A MUST HAVE


 It should be fairly simple as most of the above mentioned mechanisms are available already in the cs-cart admin panel.


It would improve the ability to manage big stores.

Mautic Integration - Free Email Marketing Automation Platform

I've recently discovered mautic - free open source email marketing automation platform. You can check out what the platform does here: matuic.org or you can watch this short video (https://www.youtube....h?v=yKgaIoElsWU).


Anyway, I've given it a try and it works awesome. The only problem is integration with cs-cart which I couldn't find on the marketplace.


Did anyone used mautic or managed to integrate it with cs-cart?


Maybe some developers would be interested to develop the addon for mautic or the community could split the costs of custom development?


Any input will be appreciated! :-)

Migrate Microdata To Json-Ld

I have a huge favor to ask.
Please, get rid of microdata in cs-cart and apply json-ld in the core of cs-cart.
1) Google and Yandex prefere json-ld
2) When using both Yandex throws error so you cannot have them side by side if you need traffic from yandex
3) It's easier to manage and extend data
4) I've been using microdata for a long time and couldn't figure out why google didn't show rich snippets. I've added json-ld and rich snippets are now visible in the search results. It's not my single opinion. On the forum there are plenty people who state the same thing.
Moreover, please fix the following issue with the markup:
When using variations as a single product the markup is wrong. It shows only the data for the main product but it should show all the information for the products which are grouped like below.
Let me explain:
If you sell Soap that comes in 250ml 500ml and 1000ml bottles

Checkout - One Field For Name And Surname Fix

is there any chance that cs-cart team will provide some kind of validator for Name and Surname field in checkout.


After the upgrade to new checkout we've noticed that about 10% of all of our orders lack surname. We end up calling the customers in order to get the surname or we have problems with shipping companies and integrations with payment gateways.


Probably it's due to the habit of having it in separate fields or maybe some kind of autocomplete mechanisms which are often used by people.


In my country there is no option to have one name and unfortunately, neither Madonna, Cher, Bono, Bjork nor Eminem shop in our store.


It would help a lot to have it in separate fields or provide some kind of validator to check if there are at least 2 words in this field.
