#328154 Upgrade / Backup / Import / Export Stuck On Processing ... Solution

Posted by TommyUK on 27 May 2020 - 08:03 AM

Just a heads-up to anyone ... if you're trying to upgrade, backup, import or export and you're stuck on the Processing screen, you are probably using Chrome v83.

You need to upgrade CS Cart to 4.11.4.SP2 ... there's a bug fix for this problem, as noted in the 4.11.4.SP2 changelog.

4.11.4.SP2
[!] Core: Installation and upgrade, backup and restore, export and import, and some other actions didn’t work in Google Chrome v83. Fixed.

#322844 No Order Notification Emails After Upgrade To 4.11.1

Posted by TommyUK on 16 December 2019 - 09:54 AM

It looks like we have the same problem (with another payment provider). Did you figure out what the problem is/was?

CSCart support changed the app/payments/sagepay_form.php file at line 40 from

fn_finish_payment($_REQUEST['order_id'], $pp_response, false);

changed to

fn_finish_payment($_REQUEST['order_id'], $pp_response, true);

I don't know what this change means but order email notications then worked OK as normal.

#309594 Meet Cs-Cart And Multi-Vendor 4.9.2 With Technical Improvements

Posted by TommyUK on 30 November 2018 - 09:57 AM

Hi,

I just updated from 4.8.2.SP2 -> 4.9.1 but 4.9.2 is still not showing in my Upgrade Center - it says "No upgrades currently available".

Is 4.9.2 not fulled rolled out to all Upgrade Centers yet?  :-(

Thanks

Thanks for replies. 4.9.2.SP1 now shows available for upgrade.  :-)

#142921 Notify Admin by email of new registrations

Posted by TommyUK on 15 August 2012 - 03:51 PM

Version 2.2.5

I needed to set up a system for Admins to get a copy of customer notifications when new customer registered and eventually figured it out, due to a combination of several posts from the forum.

If anyone else comes across this, here is what I did ...

In core/fn.users.php find this ...

// Notify customer about profile add/update
if ($action == 'add') {
fn_send_mail($user_data['email'], Registry::get('settings.Company.company_users_department'), 'profiles/create_profile_subj.tpl', 'profiles/create_profile.tpl', '', $lang_code);

and below it add this ..

// Notify administrator about profile add/update

fn_send_mail(Registry::get('settings.Company.company_users_department'), Registry::get('settings.Company.company_users_department'), 'profiles/create_profile_subj.tpl', 'profiles/create_profile.tpl', '', $lang_code);

This sends a copy of the Customers Registration email to the email address(es) listed under Settings: Company -> User department e-mail address

Hope this helps someone :)

[Backup first and no responsibility if it goes wrong etc etc]
