Unable to unselect use billing address

I was working through adding in the shipping components for my store.

Which I seem to have but on the checkout page it won't let me change the address from "use billing" to the shipping address.

Even tried and went into the admin interface to change it there for the user, and that didn't work either.

It always bounced back to the "use billing" address for shipping.

Any thoughts?


Downloadable item with physical option

I have a software download, that I would like to upsell the DVD to.

The problem is this that software download doesn't have a need for shipping information to be entered. However if they select the purchase of the DVD as one of the product options, then it doesn't add shipping unless shipping is selected for the download. Which doesn't make sense because the unless that option is selected there isn't a need for shipping.

Anyway I kind of think that this is a bug. But does anybody have any ideas to make it work correctly?

Upsell on shopping cart page

Does anybody know of a way to upsell on the shopping cart page? I have product A, and product A has three or four add ons that can be sold with it, I would like to upsell those.

Any ideas? Any third party addon that support this?

Also in an ideal world the upsold items should be products as well, because they can be purchased separately.

Paypal Express Question

I am going to apologize in advance if this post has been duplicated.

But I am evaluating CS Cart and have downloaded the free version to check it out.

One thing that I have noticed is that when using Pay Pal Express it doesn't pass the line details. Is this true? Or do I need to configure something in order for this to happen?

CS Cart community question

So I decided to try CS-cart community out, before I plunked down the $ for Professional.

So I got everything working and all seems to be good.

I primarily use Pay Pal for payment processing.

I noticed that it doesn't pass the order line items to pay pal. Is this true? Or did I just misconfigure it? Or does the pro version have stronger features in this regard.

This sounds like it could be a big deal, since I have a downstream order management solution that consolidates all of my orders for dashboards and reporting.

Any information is greatly appreciated.
