#221798 Cs-Cart And Multi-Vendor 4.3.3 Released With Upgrade Center Improvements

Posted by Kayokoko Swimwear on 06 July 2015 - 03:23 PM

Your opinions please...
We want to upgrade from our 4.1.3 to a 4.3.X version. But as we have some custom code & custom theme, I want to make sure that we are spending our migration time & outside consultancy-costs wisely.

Question: do you think 4.3.3 is a stable enough version to move to (with outside expert-help of course)? Or should we wait until 4.3.4 version is released (sometime in August)?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Has any version been stable? LOL

why haven't you fixed the problems with images paths when using lazy loader? It's critical to operations...

in other words each variant is unique and identifiable and should have an inventory value associated with it!

don't think were still on the same page...

I have this structure:

Top Size (option)
No Top (variant)
Small (variant) UPC: 123456789 Cost: $98 Quantity On Hand: 7
Medium (variant) UPC: 478479393 Cost: $98 Quantity On Hand: 8
Large (variant) UPC: 982903423 Cost: $98 Quantity On Hand: 1

Bottom Size (option):
No Top (variant)
Small (variant) UPC: 374589245 Cost: $50 Quantity On Hand: 2
Medium (variant) UPC: 847320472 Cost: $50 Quantity On Hand: 1
Large (variant) UPC: 234250634 Cost: $50 Quantity On Hand: 0

My customers can buy just a top or just a bottom. or a small top and m bottom or literally hundreds of different "combinations".

This simply doesn't work for us customers who operate this way. The simple answer is to scrap combinations and build the system to handle inventory by option and variant.

this way you can add a feature that says... only 1 item left in this size. When option QTY = 0 then disable the option etc... powerful selling tools!

Not easy, I know but the combinations don't work for most of your customer base.

#189245 Addon Request

Posted by Kayokoko Swimwear on 11 August 2014 - 02:34 PM

All, looking for the following add-on for 4.2.1:

Category Image Scroll Slider

Need - would like to be able to scroll through a category of products in a lookbook fashion (see example below)

Tech - needs to be jquery / maybe lazy loader as it will help with performance. Can not crash the browser! Can't have a negative impact on SEO. Needs to support responsive template in 4.2.1

Notes:

- would like it to display alternate image on hover over
- would like to be able to control image size
- would like to control # of images displayed (e.g 3)
- would like to show product name, price (along with discounts etc..) and add to cart button under each image.
- would like to be able to control full width or not
- would like the right / left buttons to appear

Example:
