If we have a text area as a product option , it doesnt show when the customer places the order in admin as it is typed.

EG,

Customer types in text area

Noodle

Boodle

Schmoodle

Text area on order in admin shows
 

Noodle Boodle Schmoodle

all on one line, it is possible for it to show ho it is typed

Is it just me missing the posts or is there a distinct lack of CS staff appearances on here compared to in the past.

trying to do my daily backup in admin and processing screen appears but nothing happens.

Ive done a check database in phpmyadmin and get one error 

Found row where the auto_increment column has the value 0

using paypal express, adding products to cart say = £10.00
hit paypal express button, and window opens for paypal details but still only shows £10.00, no shipping is included on the calculation, user has to select pay now, then is directed back to the store to choose shipping.

Is this correct seems like a couple of extra steps too many
