In Topic: Meet Cs-Cart And Multi-Vendor 4.8.1

23 June 2018 - 11:10 AM

Nice release, thanks!

Found a strange bug though. After upgrade all products that have more than 10 additional images (11 images and more) have wrong main image in admin panel while in the storefront everything is Ok. We changed them manually, it is not a problem, since there are not much of them.

In Topic: How Do I Hide Price & Stock For Products In A Category?

11 June 2018 - 02:00 PM

I see several methods:

1. Make the product price equal to 0 and change Zero price action to "Do not allow customers to add the product to cart". You can copy Price to List price if you want the price to be saved somewhere. Change language variables from "Contact us for a price" to "We no longer sell this product" if you wish.

2. More advanced method. Copy your product template to the new one and modify it as you need (your_theme/templates/blocks/product_templates). Go to the tab Views in you category and switch to the new template you just create in "Product details view" field.

In Topic: How To Add/append Category In Feature Group

11 June 2018 - 01:43 PM

I always understand the format, that Cs-Cart wants by exporting.

Create test feature with the desired parameters (two categories in your case) and Export it to csv (Export data > Features). Open exported csv and see the format used by Cs-Cart. Delete test feature. Use the same format to your csv for import.

In Topic: 301 Redirects Don't Work On Non-Seo Url's

11 June 2018 - 01:34 PM

I have tried putting in the old URL path without "index.php?" - like this:
/dispatch=categories.view&category_id=192
and redirecting it to the new URL, and it worked. If I try to access the full URL in browser
- mysite/dispatch=categories.view&category_id=192
it gets redirected to the new URL

Why it doesn't work when "index.php?" is included, I simply don't know.

Perhaps there is a bug in SEO add-on that needs to be fixed, or I am missing something. It could be that somewhere within rewrite conditions and rewrite rules something is not addressed as it should be.

The same problem. How to make redirect with non-SEO url like:

/index.php?dispatch=aff_banners.view&bid=1&sl=EN&aff_id=5

It works great without index.php?, but doesn't when index.php? included.

In Topic: Display Conent For Non Registered Users.

20 May 2018 - 08:14 AM

Probably

{if $auth.user_id > 0}

I found that {$auth.user_id} is equal to 0, if a user is a guest or non-registered.

Use

{$var|@fn_print_r}

 to print {$var} data (in your case {$auth|@fn_print_r}). See if there is the difference in any data if you are non-registered, guest or logged in and use that difference.

You also can use debug tool to see all variables in the template. Just add ?debug (or &debug) to the url in admin area and a bug icon appears at the right. Go to the customer area page, click on the bug icon and go the templates to see all variables used in this page. It is very useful. https://docs.cs-cart...s/debugger.html
