#169163 Picture auto-size for mobile use?

Posted by 2tl on 04 October 2013 - 10:47 AM

there is a way to decrease the size of images for mobile devices.

First of all, change the hardcoded size in the "style" attribute to a custom CSS class.

<p><img src="/images/banners/damesshawls_winter_700px_298px.png" class="my-category-desc-image"></p>

Add styles to this class for the mobile version:

Edit "custom_{your_twigmo_skin_name}.css" (basic, handbag or cupcake) located at design/themes/basic/css/addons/twigmo/

Add the following code:

.my-category-desc-image {
width: 350px;
height: 149px;

These changes should be applied to the desktop version too.
You can find how to create a custom CSS file for the desktop version at http://docs.cs-cart.com/my-changes.

Thank you.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

#158861 Change look of Twigmo skin?

Posted by 2tl on 28 March 2013 - 07:20 AM

Dear ckad79,

The Twigmo add-on may contains the custom_{$twigmo_skin_name}.css file where you can place your custom styles.
For the Handbag theme, you may create custom_handbag.css in the 'skins/basic/customer/addons/twigmo' directory of your CS-Cart installation. Please note, I assume your current skin is 'basic', otherwise change the path accordingly. The file can be edited in the template editor built in CS-Cart admin panel (Design > Template Editor) or any text processor (please do not use Microsoft Word for that).

Here is the snippet of the default CSS which is responsible for the color of product name on the catalog page:
.ui-btn-icon-right .ui-li-heading {
color: #303030;

So, in the custom.css file you may set any colors for any elements on the page.

Also you may look at another topics on this forum:

I hope this information will be helpful.

#158353 twigmo Product Configurator

Posted by 2tl on 21 March 2013 - 11:55 AM

Hello globalburo,

Unfortunately, Twigmo does not support configurable products and we do not plan to add this support due to the difficulties of product configuring on a mobile device screen. At the moment, it is possible to buy a configurable product in its default configuration via the mobile site. In the next release, we plan to replace the "Add to cart" button with the link to the desktop site (so that a customer will be able to buy it there) to avoid any confusion.

I apologize for possible inconvenience.
