In Topic: Blog Image Sizes

19 November 2021 - 09:07 PM

Thanks...I didn't know I could add that without messing things up. I will experiment to see if I can use percentages in there. It would be great to use:

{include file="common/image.tpl" obj_id=$page.page_id images=$page.main_pair image_width=100%}

I'm hoping the result would be the image would fill the space (assuming it was big enough to fill it) but then maintain its aspect ratio. Thanks for your help and I will add my test results here for future reference.

In Topic: Transfer Addon Licence To New Domain

23 August 2021 - 05:27 AM

I know this thread is old, but I'm wondering if there is any other solution to this, other than waiting for Alex Branding to follow up on a support request? I don't even care if I have to buy another license, but if there is a process that does not rely on their support ticket system that would be great to know!

Thanks in advance for any update on this!

In Topic: Product Variations Import Problem

01 June 2021 - 08:00 PM

I appreciate that, but that was the very first thing I did. There is almost no way a product export from Shopify can be imported, with variations, into CS Cart.

The instructions on how to import a file with variations is not even close to the file format created from an export....as you suggest. That is actually why I went to the documentation to see if it would be easier. It is easier, but it doesn't work.

So, I have two choices:

1. Create an export file and match up my import file to that structure - this is impractical for any sample file I have as I need to update the import file structure for 4000 products. To make the structure match, I will need to touch every single product.

2. Import the file without any variations and simply edit each one by hand. Likely, not much different in terms of time commitment than trying to get an import file to work.

If I've missed an option here, I would appreciate further comments. If anyone from CS Cart is reading this thread, it is an area I would recommend for future development. The need to import large quantities of products, with variations, is currently needlessly complex. At the very least, it would be great if your documentation resulted in an importable file.

Thanks!!
