Disable Global Options For Some Products

26 June 2016 - 01:29 PM

Hi,

I have global options for most of our products. I want to disable the global options for only some of my products using that global option. However if I try to do this within the product it disables the global option for all products with that global option.

Is there a way around this? Any advice please.

Change To Responsive Theme Dilemma?!

21 April 2016 - 03:09 PM

I want to switch to responsive theme but I can only see an option to activate the theme but then the front end is live with that theme. We have always had a full width theme layout. Currently using 4.3.3
Is there a way to edit and preview the theme without it activating the front end? It looks like I have to completely layout and style the theme from scratch? Is there an easy way to do this?

I suppose the real question is there anyway way to move to a responsive theme but keep the layout we have now?

Appreciate any help? Stuart

Additional Storefront

04 January 2016 - 08:17 PM

Hi,

Am I able to create an additional storefront without buying a licence first? I wanted to create and then edit the storefront to how I wanted it and then buy the licence when I'm ready to be live?

How do I get the url pointing to the new storefront? Do I have to change DNS settings for my chosen url. The new storefront will have a new url as it's a different type of product?

Thanks stuart

Responsive Theme

With the new google rules we want to change our theme to responsive to be mobile friendly. I can only see an option to activate the theme but then the front end is live with that theme.

Flipbook On Product Page

06 August 2015 - 10:46 AM

Hi,
I would like to insert a flip book into the product so the customer can click and open to view the book like here.http://fb.signature-...ook/?Product=AL

I want this to be on my own website. We have permission to use the flipbook url's like the example above. Apparently this can be done by using fancybox?
The company who have given us permission to use their url's like the example above have also given us instructions below to complete this.
Is this possible with cs cart?

This is simple to implement by following the instructions below.
  • Download the latest version of FancyBox from http://fancyapps.com/fancybox/ and copy the contents of the “Source” folder into a folder called “Fancybox” within your website. This should include a jquery.fancybox.js, jquery.fancybox.css and a number of images.
  • In the header section of your page, you’ll need to load jQuery and FancyBox by adding the following 3 lines (Please note, jQuery should be loaded before Fancybox):

    <script src="http://code.jquery.c...latest.min.js">
    <script src="fancybox/jquery.fancybox.js">
    <link href="fancybox/jquery.fancybox.css" rel="stylesheet">
  • Add a script to the header to tell the system to how to open FancyBox (there are more options available in the Fancybox documentation):

    <script>
    $(".fancybox-html").fancybox({
    autoSize: true,
    closeClick: false,
    fitToView: true,
    type: 'iframe'
    });
    </script>
  • Add a link to the page with a class of “fancybox-html” to open eg: <a href="http://fb.signature-.../?Product=YLTS" class="fancybox-html">Your Letter To Santa</a><br /> That’s it, the flip book will open without taking the user away from your website!

Example HTML for Fancybox Flip Book

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<title>Flip book in Fancybox Test Page</title>
<script src="http://code.jquery.c...n.js"></script>
<script src="fancybox/jquery.fancybox.js"></script>
<link href="fancybox/jquery.fancybox.css" rel="stylesheet" />

<script>
$(".fancybox-html").fancybox({
autoSize: true,
closeClick: false,
fitToView: true,
type: 'iframe'
});
</script>

</head>
<body>
<a href="http://fb.signature-.../?Product=YLTS" class="fancybox-html">
Your Letter To Santa</a><br />
</body>
</html>
