#176332 CS-Cart And Multi-Vendor 4.1.2 Released, Brings Google Chrome Fix, Security I...

Posted by Struck on 29 January 2014 - 11:27 PM

ModNet

I don't understand this either.

It's really not at all complicated  , the issue was with google Chrome's update, CS-Cart had a fix for this within matter of a few days, where is the problem? CS-Cart didn't ignore anything, apparently you did little reading before posting your simple minded comments....... Constructive criticism can be a good thing as long as the comments are valid, when they are not it comes across as ignorance..........

Johnbol1,

Aren't you the guy that said he was doing six figures on his site ?

I responded by saying you get zippo for traffic and proved it and you never responded ?
Might want to try learning about Seo and then you may get some traffic instead of acting like you just got

Look idiot, there is no way you could possibly comprehend what I am about to explain, however, there is far more to running a successful business than sitting in a cubical all day manipulating Google rankings, point is that when you do (which in your case is most likely never) become successful, you will discover that the world truly doesn't revolve stricly around SEO, there is far more to running a successful business than just being an "SEO Expert" such as you perceive to be! 8)

#164654 CS-Cart 4 Final Released

Posted by Struck on 30 June 2013 - 10:39 PM

From previous experience, I find its better to wait a little longer until any initial bugs are found and corrected.

Yep, this is the only situation in which "Newbies" truly are our friends!

#163933 I really need Supplier Purchase Order Add-On

Posted by Struck on 18 June 2013 - 06:55 PM

CS-Cart is a SALES channel

Refreshing to hear of others with practical business sense and logic!

(Although I am hoping to someday find a mod so that from my Cs-cart admin panel I can manage my radio controlled forklift !) :-)

You mean you can't explain any benifits don't you

What I mean exactly, is that my time is very valuable and is best utilized focusing on my business versus trying to explain the benefits of a particular feature to someone that most likely, doesn't have the capacity to understand regardless of my efforts to explain.

If you waste any more of my valuable time then I will have no choice other than to send you an invoice for my time of which you will not be able to afford, then I will turn you over to our collections agency for non-payment.

It's only a great feature if you want to change the design of your site once live. How many times does the average shop owner do that ? at most once a year and by then the will proberbly updates anyway.

Wrong, the Theme Editor actually is a great feature and actually will be used by many of us running professional businesses! If you are unable to understand the benefits, then I for one won't waste my time explaining the benefits to you.......

Needless to say I won't be updating to be able to change the colour of text or move it around.

Alright, so why continue wasting time whining, sounds as if your good to go!

I imagine that you are one of those that finds more value in having 30 premade skin designs (29 of which will most likely never be used thus becoming nothing more than "bloat") included in the core download....

#161514 Upgrade problems 2.2.4 to 3.0.6

Posted by Struck on 08 May 2013 - 10:32 PM

ouch! i thought so...thanks for the reply. but i'll need more than 4-8 hours. any other workaround? I'll need atleast 3 days to work on the new version while keeping the old site live.

Hopefully the CS-Cart developers will take this scenario into account when designing the Version 4.x Store Importer tool allowing for multiple selective data imports of additional customers and orders acquired "during" the final re-configuration / design process! A lot of subsequent activity prior to actually going live can occur over the course of a few days (or even a few hours or minutes for the big-hitters stores like Flow or Jesse manage!) 8)

#158906 Why CSCART is the slowest CMS that anyone in the history of earth has done?

Well I just did it with the 128 per page and took about 8 seconds.

Again, as described before, I believe the business model will probably be around the use of the content for mutual benefits of ours and the stores, for example- upselling of products in the mail after purchase (of course that the store owner will need to agree to that).

But, it does have a pretty interface!

#155838 CS-Cart 3.0.6 Released

Posted by Struck on 19 February 2013 - 08:39 PM

something I learned from experience: always wait at least 2 weeks before doing an upgrade.

Come on Flow, life is too boring if you can't live on the edge a little, I normally just closely follow a few of our beta tester friends for a few hours, then let er rip! ;-)

And Remember, Newbies are truly our friends & we could never survive without them!
